Professional Expertise and Experience
Albin Tenga is a Research Consultant and founder of Sports Insight Link. He possesses a rare combination of professional expertise including practical experience in soccer coaching (UEFA B-license), theoretical understanding of the game, and research skills - a PhD in Performance Analysis, with a specialization in soccer.
Since 1998 Tenga has been passionately engaged with the analysis of soccer performance, with a special interest in practice-relevant analysis approaches. Tenga’s earliest professional experience happened when he was one of the selected analyst trainees who, among other engagements, provided specific analysis support to the Norwegian male national soccer team during successful campaigns for 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000. Tenga continued with further studies and accomplished MSc and PhD in Sports Science at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences, a Specialized University.
At Sports Insight Link we therefore have solid expertise and many years of experience in soccer performance analysis, in addition to academic qualifications.
Tenga is authorized as a Performance Analyst of highest scientific level (5) by the International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport (ISPAS).
